Not even the same song, really, so hard to compare. PTX is great, and they did a very entertaining variation. However, there is no comparison. Dan Vasc just sang the most beautiful version I have ever heard. Powerful, yet respectful, and it touched my heart. Dan didn't just win. We ALL won. P.S. I don't like comparing artists, personally.

Many singers have touched me deeply with this song, but Dan Vasc takes 1st place every time. Even against Stan Walker (my other most favorite) or Ptx.

Dans version is the BEST Ive ever heard. Pentonix is ok, but I'll listen to Dan sing it any day over them.

PTX using only voices no instruments always surprises me. His version is beautiful. Not a great comparison very different, both enchanting. I prefer the PTX sound. Just a preference.

Thank you for your nice attempt to compare 2 very different versions of Amazing Grace. Both Pentatonix and Dan have made this epic song their own in their own way. Comparing a group with a solo singer is not fair, but you have already noticed that yourself. Thank you anyway for showing us these wonderful cover versions.

Basically both very nice versions... Nevertheless, my heart beats for Dan Vasc, fantastic, incomparable, world-best voice ♥️🤘

Pentatiox is okay, But in my take Dan version brings more Power and awakens the Soul and brings New Life in a 250 year song that we need

Agree with apples and oranges but Dan sang by himself through about 4 octaves. Vocally I think he By far showed his vocal prowess but I also love PTX!

You're comparing apples n oranges! There is a place for both but really no comparison. Apart from the group dynamic, Dan Vasc stuck to the more traditional version of the hymn, which I like. However, he was all over the map in terms of tone n pitch, so I prefer the PTX version.

I remember watching this on TV during the Andy Williams Show. The Righteous Brothers were also known as "Blue eyed Soul". You need to listen to more 50s to 80s music where you can understand the lyrics and most singers sung live, w/o autotune; true soulful music.

I think this is in my top 4 Bee Gee's songs: Though I keep changing the order, No.1 is Too Much Heaven and this comes before 4. There are no SNF songs there. One is from Odessa Album (Seven Seas Symphony) and the other is 'I could not love you more'.
